Militants blow up government school in South Waziristan

Unidentified militants destroyed a government middle school in South Waziristan’s Bermal tehsil with explosives, damaging nearby houses; no casualties were reported, police confirmed.
SOUTH WAZIRISTAN (Dunya News) - Unidentified armed militants blew up a government school with explosives in the district, police sources said.
According to officials, the explosion occurred in Bermal tehsil where Government Middle School Sharif Khan Kot was targeted. Two classrooms, bathrooms, the main gate and one side of the boundary wall were completely destroyed in the blast. Nearby houses also sustained partial damage.
Sources confirmed that no casualties were reported in the explosion.
Earlier, militants had also destroyed Government High School Azam Warsak in a similar bomb attack in the area.
