ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has vowed that terrorist elements will not be allowed to promote their narrative or ideology.
Addressing Qaumi Paigham-e-Aman Committee conference in Islamabad on Monday, he said that the entire nation is united in its resolve to completely eradicate the menace of terrorism.
He emphasised that terrorism would be confronted through both kinetic and non-kinetic means.
Commending the role of religious scholars in safeguarding the country’s ideological frontiers and maintenance of peace, the information minister stated that the Qaumi Paigham-e-Aman Committee would visit different parts of the country to spread Islam’s message of peace.
He said that terrorists have nothing to do with Islam, Pakistan or humanity.

He said that Paigham-e-Aman Committee is an overarching body in which minorities are also represented.
He emphasised that it is our responsibility to safeguard the rights of minorities.
He further noted that this fully empowered committee will play an effective role in countering the narrative of terrorists.
