ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a phone conversation with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, offering heartfelt condolences over storm disaster.

The prime minister expressed deep sympathy for the loss of lives and property damage caused by the recent severe storms, heavy rainfall, floods, and landslides in Malaysia.

During the conversation, PM Shehbaz Sharif conveyed his condolences for the lives lost in the disaster and wished for the speedy recovery of those injured and displaced. He also expressed solidarity with the people of Malaysia during this difficult time.

He assured his Malaysian counterpart that Pakistan stands ready to assist in any way needed for the ongoing rescue and relief efforts in Malaysia. He emphasized that Pakistan would offer all possible support for humanitarian aid and recovery operations.

In response, PM Anwar Ibrahim thanked the Pakistani counterpart for his heartfelt message and expressed that the solidarity shown during this challenging time reflects the strong, brotherly ties between Pakistan and Malaysia.
