GHOTKI (Dunya News) – At least 15 people were killed in a gun battle between three tribes in Ubauro and during a joint operation by police and Rangers against the armed groups.

According to police, after the armed clash between the three tribes in Ubauro, a joint operation by police and Rangers is underway. One police officer was martyred in an exchange of fire with bandits.

Police officials said that during the operation, nine armed members of the Shar gang were killed, seven bodies were shifted to the hospital, and efforts are ongoing to recover more.

It was reported that six people from the Sailra and Dondo tribes were also killed in the firing, while police officer Amjad Dargah was martyred and two others injured.

Officials added that the operation in the riverine area continues, and additional forces have been called in for a full-scale action against the armed groups.
