ISLAMABAD (Dunya News): Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Wednesday said that Faisal Vawda did not bring any message during their recent meeting, and discussions on the points of the 27th constitutional amendment will be held after reviewing its draft.

Speaking to the media at the Parliament House in Islamabad, Fazlur Rehman said that his meeting with Faisal Vawda was a routine political meeting, and such meetings keep happening.

He further said that Bilawal Bhutto may have leaked some information regarding 27th constitutional amendment, but it is not clear yet whether thie information is correct or not.

Fazlur Rehman said that JUI-F would review the 27th Constitutional Amendment only after its draft is released. Before that, we cannot say anything -- speculation should be avoided, he added.

Earlier in the day, Senator Faisal Vawda met Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman at his residence in Islamabad to discuss the country’s current political situation.

Both leaders exchanged views on political developments and issues of national importance. JUI-F spokesperson Aslam Ghauri was also present during the meeting.
