WASHINGTON (Dunya News) - Urdu language spokesperson of the US Ministry of Foreign Affairs Margaret McLeod has said the Trump administration has so far taken no decision to ban Pakistanis to the United States.
Margaret MacLeod said that President Trump had issued a presidential order on January 20, adding under the presidential order, the US administration will review visa programme again.
“Under the presidential order, visa programme will be revised. The presidential order is aimed at safeguarding the United States from foreign terrorists,” the spokeswoman said.
She said that they were exchanging information with regard to visa curbs.
“President Trump appreciated Pakistan's cooperation during his address to the State of the Union.
“Pakistanis living in America are an important part of our society,” Margaret MacLeod said.
She said those want to come to America, they should share correct information in their documents, adding those enter the United States illegally to face action.
