Says those having arms in their hands can’t be allowed to hold protests
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has rejected speculations about political instability in the country as wrong, saying political situation will improve day by day.
Appearing on Dunya News programme ‘TONIGHT with Samar Abbas,’ the PML-N leader said those who had arms in their hands could not be allowed to hold protests.
“If questions on Pakistan politics are raised in the presence of PM Modi during his visit to the US, their real face will be exposed. American statements about Shakeel Afridi have also been surfacing in the past, then what will happen if Trump’s statement comes in, the defence minister questioned.
The PTI founder has issued three protest calls in a year, but the country’s journey towards development and uplift did not stop. If he wants to give another call, he can give and see what happens, he added.
To a question about Imran Khan’s letter to Army Chief Asim Munir, the defence minister said there was a lot of time in jail, and it passes pleasantly with writing letter.
About the letter of judges, the PML-N leader said the judiciary will deal with the letter issue.
