Lever revealed that his father was an alcoholic and paid no attention to the family's needs, leaving his elder uncle to provide for their fees and rations. He eventually became infuriated with the situation and left school. However, he shared that he received a lot of love while he was in school and used to imitate everyone, including his teachers.
He also mentioned his class teacher, Damyanti, who he described as "very lovely," and with whom he is still in touch. Despite leaving school, she even went so far as to offer to pay for Lever's fees and clothes to help him rejoin school.
