MUMBAI (Web Desk) - The veteran Indian vocalist, Alka Yagnik recently surprised fans with a shocking revelation about herself. In a recent interview, Yagnik confessed that she had no idea who the global pop icons BTS were.
Yagnik's daughter Syesha had to explain to her mother what it meant to leave BTS behind in numbers, after the Indian singer became the most-streamed artist on Spotify, surpassing even Taylor Swift.
"When I asked Syesha, who is BTS, she was shocked. She told me 'Ma, you are a wonder!'" Yagnik recalled. However, the achievement didn't seem to affect Yagnik too much, as she remained calm and collected.
Despite her lack of knowledge about the K-pop sensation, Yagnik's fans remain loyal and proud of her accomplishment as the most-streamed artist on Spotify.
