Police seize a mobile phone, a motorbike and some cash from the suspects
KARACHI (Dunya News) - A robbery suspect was killed and one injured during an exchange of fire with the police in Karachi on Wednesday, police said.
The incident took place in Korangi’s Awami Colony. The injured suspect was arrested. According to the Korangi SSP, the suspects were fleeing after committing a robbery and after seeing a police team opened fire. The crossfire left one suspect dead and another injured.
However, policemen remained safe due to their bulletproof jackets. A Mobile phone, a motorbike and some cash was recovered from the possession of the suspects.
The body and the injured were shifted to a hospital for legal formalities.
