(Web Desk) – The United Arab Emirates (UAE) managed to score 122 runs losing six wickets against South Africa in a group match of the T20 World Cup at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Indian capital Delhi on Wednesday.
Put into bat, the UAE batsmen failed to produce big partnerships. Alishan Sharafu was the top scorer with 45 compiled off 38 balls. His knock included five fours and one six. Skipper Muhammad Waseem hit four fours in his 12-ball knock of 22.
For South Africa, Corbin Bosch captured three scalps and Anrich Nortje bagged two conceding 12 and 28 runs, respectively.

The UAE, on the other hand, have won only one match in the ongoing tournament and are at the fourth spot with two points. They have defeated Canada by five wickets.
The match has no significance for both the teams. South Africa have already qualified for the Super Eight stage, while the UAE cannot qualify for next stage even if they win.
