Javed Miandad discharged after precautionary heart check-up in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan’s legendary batsman Javed Miandad was taken to hospital after experiencing discomfort in his chest on Wednesday.

According to a private media report, Miandad was shifted to a cardiac hospital, where doctors examined him and later allowed him to return home.

The report stated that the former Test captain arrived at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) in Karachi. After conducting necessary tests, doctors performed an angiography and, upon reviewing the results, declared him healthy.

Meanwhile, Miandad expressed satisfaction with the facilities provided at NICVD.

Before leaving the hospital, Miandad said that he was feeling much better and added that with Allah’s blessings and the prayers of the nation, his health would continue to improve.
