Sui Southern Gas Company will halt gas supply to industries, captive power plants, and CNG stations for 48 hours from January 17 to maintain better pressure for domestic and commercial users.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has decided to suspend gas supply to industrial consumers, captive power plants, and CNG stations for 48 hours starting January 17 at 8am.
According to an SSGC spokesperson, the temporary shutdown is aimed at maintaining better gas pressure for domestic and commercial users. The company stressed that this step is part of daily gas load management efforts.
The spokesperson added that gas supply to industries and CNG stations will also be cut during nighttime hours, from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am, to ensure consistent pressure for households and commercial establishments.
Officials urged consumers to plan accordingly and assured that normal supply would resume once the short-term measures are completed.
