LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari has said Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz sharif is diligently working on various projects for the welfare of the common people.
During a press conference in Lahore, she highlighted the "Apni Chahat. Apna Ghar" programme, which was completed within two and half months.
"The programme provides loans of up to Rs1.5 million for home construction. The chief minsiter is personally monitoring prices of essential goods through a dashboard, leading to reduced prices in Punjab compared to other provinces," she added.
She also emphasised a 43 percent decrease in crime rate in Lahore and praised the police department’s efforts.
