Anju marries Nasrullah in Pakistan

DIR BALA (Dunya News) – Anju, a married woman who came to Pakistan from India after making a friend on Facebook, on Tuesday tied the knot with Nasrullah, a resident of Dir Bala.

Anju and Nasrullah’s marriage was solemnised in the District Courts of Dir.

It should be noted that 34-year-old Anju, who came to Pakistan after befriending Nasrullah on Facebook in 2019, had come to Pakistan by telling her husband that she was going to Jaipur, India.

Anju had accepted Christianity to marry Arvind, her Indian husband.

On the other hand, 29-year-old Nasrullah’s statement came out after this matter went viral on Pakistani and Indian media two days ago, in which he said the two have no intention of getting married.

Nasrullah said he had no intention of marrying Anju.

“Anju will go back to her country after her visa expires on Aug 20. She is living in a separate room in the house with other women in my family,” he said.

Meanwhile, it is learnt that the woman embraced Islam and has been named Fatima.
