Customs Intelligence seizes smuggled cloth at Anarkali Lahore
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Customs Intelligence on Friday seized smuggled cloth worth more than Rs30 million in an operation at Anarkali Bazaar in Lahore.
Customs Additional Director Rizwan Bashir carried out the operation on the direction of DG Intelligence Faiz Ahmad Chadhar. A team, led by superintendent Rai Waqar, searched out the area and seized smuggled cloth which had been concealed in shops.
The anti-smuggling watchdog had been working effectively and carrying out operations to curb smuggling, said an official.
