Both teams are playing their second group match.
Earlier, ahead of the high-voltage match, security arrangements were intensified. The national team would participate in a practice session yesterday.
The national women's team has already triumphed over Sri Lanka by 31 runs in their opening match, while India faced a defeat against New Zealand in their first game.
