ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - A case has been registered against PTI founder Imran Khan for allegedly planning the D-Chowk protest.

The charges against him included kidnapping, robbery, attempted murder, interference with government operations, and violations under the Anti-Terrorism Act, among 13 sections in total.

The case was filed by Sub-Inspector Qaiser Mehmood and named Imran Khan along with 14 local leaders.

The complaint stated that, contrary to prison manual, Imran Khan was granted extraordinary illegal facilities while incarcerated.

It alleged that he incited his political workers to violence against the state and institutions during visits and communications from jail.

The FIR further claimed that Imran Khan compelled PTI leaders to lead a violent mob, resulting in the abduction of a constable and injuries to five others through gunfire and petrol bombs.

Additionally, the report mentioned that police arrested 105 protesters and confiscated 20 catapults, 2,500 marble balls, 40 sticks, and nine vehicles from them.
