Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and French President Emmanuel Macron witnessed the signing ceremony at the Élysée Palace following bilateral talks, according to Saudi broadcaster Al-Ekhbariya.
The agreements cover several areas of cooperation between the two countries. They include a declaration of intent signed between Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defence and France’s Ministry of the Armed Forces to further strengthen defence ties.
The development underscores the two countries’ efforts to deepen their strategic partnership and expand cooperation across multiple sectors.
Earlier, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and President Macron held bilateral talks at the Élysée Palace.
The meeting and signing ceremony took place as Saudi Arabia and France seek to further develop their longstanding political, economic and security ties.
