Court orders PTI chief presence in marriage case October 2
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – A district and sessions court has ordered to produce the PTI chairman at the next hearing in ‘illegal’ marriage case.
Civil Judge Qudratullah heard the illegal marriage case against the PTI chairman and his wife Bushra Bibi.
On this occasion, the assistant counsel of prosecutor Rizwan Abbasi appeared in the court while a letter of the superintendent of Attock jail was also received by the court.
In the letter, the superintendent expressed his inability of presenting the PTI chairman in the court.
During the hearing, the assistant counsel of the prosecutor, Rizwan Abbasi filed a request seeking postponement of the hearing.
In the request, it was stated that the prosecutor could not appear in the court due to his busy schedule in the Supreme Court.
When the hearing resumed after the break, the PTI chairman 's lawyer Sher Afzal Marwat appeared in the court and pleaded for adjournment ofthe hearing, and sought another direction for the appearance of the PTI chairman in the court.
The judge while talking to the lawyer of the PTI chairman inquired, “what do you think it is necessary to produce chairman PTI in court”?
Later, the court adjourned the hearing till October 2 while ordering the production of the PTI chairman at the next hearing.
