Summary Says JUI-F believes in Pakistan's strong defence.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) emir Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said if the rulers do not follow the Constitution, it is their negligence.
Addressing a workers' convention here on Sunday, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the Constitution clearly states that no law will be made contrary to the Quran and Sunnah.
The JUI-F chief said, “The leaders of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam have taught us about political struggle and even today we need to follow these teachings.” He said JUI-F believes in Pakistan's strong defence force.
Addressing the workers' convention, JUI-F Abdul Ghafoor Haideri said the current situation in the country is no different from the situation in the subcontinent.
He alleged that every tactic is being used to suppress the voice of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, adding those who cannot even win a councillor seat are fielded against JUI-F.
