'Imran Khan Release Force' to have political implications: Barrister Gohar

Says party has reservations; urges all parties to play role in improving politics; PTI does not want to harm democracy
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali has urged all parties to come together for improvement in politics, stressing the need to strengthen the defence of the country.
The PTI leader said the party has some reservations on the issue of ‘Imran Khan Release Force’ and consultations have been held on it, adding it will have political implications; the CM takes the party into confidence on provincial matters.
Talking to the media outside the Supreme Court here on Tuesday, Barrister Gohar said that the court is the one that provides justice, but even those who got 30 million votes were not given justice.
“All parties must come together for improvement in politics. Pakistan's defence must be strong. The situation should not be prolonged any longer,” he said.
Regarding the health of the founder, the PTI chairman said it is important to keep the founder’s family update about his health, questioning what should be the problem to keep his family onboard regarding the founder’s treatment.
“We were given a message that the founder had been injected. This time we did not speak directly to doctors. Later, we were informed that he had been sent back to jail and his health was good,” he went on saying.
He made it clear that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will not take any step that would harm democracy at any time.
We want the release of the PTI founder through the court, not through any unconstitutional measure. PTI will continue to raise its voice on every forum, including the streets, the PTI leader said.
