Pakistan security forces have eliminated four India-backed Fitna al Khwarij militants in Dera Ismail Khan, recovering arms and continuing counter-terror operations.
DERA ISMAIL KHAN (Dunya News) – Security forces carried out a precision intelligence-based operation (IBO) on Monday in Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, targeting the reported presence of terrorists linked to the India-backed Fitna al Khwarij group.
During the operation, troops engaged the militants at the identified location. After an intense exchange of fire, four khwarij were neutralised.
Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the militants, who had been actively involved in numerous terrorist activities across the area.
The targeted operation aimed to dismantle a cell actively plotting attacks and destabilising the region.
Sanitisation operations are underway to identify and neutralise any remaining India-sponsored khwarij in the district. This operation is part of the ongoing counter-terrorism campaign under the national vision “Azm-e-Istehkam,” approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan.
Security forces and law enforcement agencies say they are continuing their relentless campaign to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism across Pakistan. The initiative remains at full pace to ensure the safety and stability of vulnerable regions.
