ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan on Sunday said that neither the jail superintendent nor the administration had contacted them regarding Imran Khan’s medical examination at the Adiala Jail.
In a statement, Barrister Gohar said that the government had not discussed the inclusion of family members and personal physicians in the medical board for the examination of the PTI founder.
He stated that from the very beginning, our demand has been that Imran Khan’s personal doctors should be included in the medical board for his examination, and that one of his family members should also be present during the examination.
Barrister Gohar further said that Imran Khan’s sister and the opposition alliance have maintained from the beginning that he [PTI founder] should be transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital as soon as possible and examined there in the presence of his personal physicians.
