Sharjeel terms PTI's strike call on Sunday as smart strategy

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon on Monday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) showed smartness by giving a strike call on Sunday.
Taking a swipe at the political opponents, Sharjeel Memon said that schools and offices are not open on Sundays and businesses also remain closed. “If they want to please someone by giving a strike call on Sunday, they can keep doing so. A Sunday strike was PTI’s smart strategy,” he remarked.
Sharjeel Memon added that the politics of MQM and Jamaat-e-Islami revolve around criticism. If they don’t oppose, then how will they do politics?” he said, adding that there is no local government system in Punjab and other provinces, yet they do not make such statements about that.
