ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Former Islamabad High Court judge Tariq Jahangiri has approached the Federal Constitutional Court, challenging the decision that removed him from office.

According to reports, Jahangiri has formally filed an appeal, asking the court to declare the Islamabad High Court’s ruling null and void. He argued that he was removed without fulfilling legal requirements.

In his petition, the former judge stated that the decision violated constitutional and legal principles, claiming due process was not followed.

It is worth noting that the Islamabad High Court removed Tariq Jahangiri from his judicial post on December 18, 2025. His latest appeal marks a significant development in the case.
