Quetta, Feb 5 (Dunya News): Train services from Quetta to various parts of Balochistan and other provinces have been restored after a suspension of several days due to security concerns.

According to railway officials, train operations had been halted for the past five days following attacks on January 31. The services are now being resumed in phases, reconnecting Quetta with destinations within the province as well as other parts of the country.

Officials said the Quetta–Chaman passenger train departed on schedule, bringing relief to passengers who had been facing travel difficulties. In addition, the Jaffar Express service from Quetta to Peshawar has also been restored from today.

The railway administration further stated that the Bolan Mail service operating between Karachi and Quetta is expected to resume within the next few days.
