Security on the Jaffar Express has been upgraded with modern technology, 24-hour monitoring and cameras, as Railways Minister Hanif Abbasi reviewed measures to ensure safe travel in Balochistan.
QUETTA (Dunya News) - Modern security arrangements have been completed on the Jaffar Express to ensure safe travel in Balochistan as part of government efforts to improve passenger security.
Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi reviewed the security situation of the Jaffar Express during a visit to Quetta and described the technology-equipped BKC coach as an effective security measure.
Praising the professional efforts of the Pakistan Army and FC Balochistan North for ensuring foolproof security, the railways minister said the Jaffar Express has been made safe, reliable, and satisfactory for passengers in Balochistan. He emphasized that the protection of passengers’ lives and property remains a top priority for the government and the Pakistan Army.
Hanif Abbasi stated that 24-hour monitoring of railway tracks, installation of modern cameras, and the availability of adequate security staff on board have been ensured.
He added that effective security provided by the Pakistan Army and FC Balochistan has helped restore public confidence in rail travel across the province.
