National Assembly session extended till 23 January 2026

National Assembly’s current session has been extended till January 23, 2026, to deliberate on legislation, question hour, and key issues of public importance.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - It has been decided to continue the current session of the National Assembly until January 23, 2026.
The decision was taken during a meeting of the National Assembly’s House Business Advisory Committee, chaired by Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.
During the meeting, members discussed the agenda and duration of the 23rd session of the National Assembly. It was unanimously agreed that the ongoing session would continue until Friday, January 23, 2026.

The session will focus on legislation, the question hour, and debates on issues of public importance.
Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah and Federal Law Minister Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar attended the meeting.
Federal Minister Khalid Hussain Magsi and National Assembly members Syed Naveed Qamar, Ijaz Hussain Jakhrani, Syed Hafeezuddin, Syed Amin-ul-Haq, Nezhat Sadiq, Syeda Shehla Raza, Noor Alam Khan, and Sheikh Aftab were also present.
