Earthquake shakes Islamabad, surrounding areas

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Islamabad and several other regions of the country experienced tremors today. People rushed out of their homes, reciting the Kalima Tayyiba as the ground shook.

The tremors were felt in Islamabad, Attock, Hassan Abdal, Kamra, Kharian, Hazro, and nearby areas.

The earthquake struck at 9:37 AM, with a magnitude of 4.2 recorded on the Richter scale. According to the seismology center, the epicenter was located 50 kilometers southwest of Tarbela, at a depth of 15 kilometers.
