LAHORE (Dunya News) – The trial in the case related to the attack on the GOR Club Chowk gate on May 9 has been completed at Kot Lakhpat Jail.
The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore is expected to announce its verdict today.
Final statements of all 33 accused, including Dr Yasmin Rashid, have been recorded.
Cross-examination of all 41 prosecution witnesses has been completed, and the court has directed the defence lawyers to conclude their final arguments today.
ATC Judge Manzar Ali Gul completed the proceedings of the case at Kot Lakhpat Jail. The accused include Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Dr Yasmin Rashid, Mian Mahmood ur Rasheed, Ejaz Chaudhry, Umar Sarfaraz Cheema, among others. During the trial, four accused were declared proclaimed offenders.
