DG ISPR engages Comsats students on misinformation and national security

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistani military's spokesman Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry on Thursday held a special interactive session with faculty members and students of Comsats University Islamabad, focusing on the country’s internal situation, the spread of misinformation and disinformation, and key national issues.

During the session, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General responded in detail to participants’ questions. Attendees later shared their views, paying tribute to the sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces for the homeland. Participants stressed that the spread of unverified information without research can harm national interests, while awareness sessions help counter misinformation effectively.

The DG ISPR encouraged the youth, calling them the future of Pakistan, and emphasized that national stability, security, and development require the collective role of every citizen alongside the armed forces, with unity among institutions essential to eliminate terrorism.
