Curfew to remain imposed in Tank dist from 6am to 6pm

TANK (Dunya News) - Curfew will remain imposed in Tank district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday (today) from 6am to 6pm.

According to a notification issued by the district administration, markets in Jandola subdivision of Tank district will remained closed due to curfew, while there will be a complete ban on all types of movement during the curfew and the Kok Qila-Khargi highway will also remain closed for traffic.

The notification states that entry on the above highways is strictly prohibited. In case of emergency, travel is allowed on affected routes with the permission of police or security forces, and by submitting identity cards and documents.

In addition, the notification further states that only approved emergency movements are allowed during the curfew.

Upon seeing the security forces, the vehicle should stop 50 metres ahead and all persons should get down. The responsibility for the violation will lie with the individual concerned, the notification added.
