PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The Peshawar High Court has launched Evening Courts (Double Shift Courts) in Peshawar on Tuesday aimed at providing timely justice and convenience to the public.

Chief Justice Peshawar High Court (PHC) Justice Syed Attique Shah, formally inaugurated first-ever double docket (evening) court in provincial capital Peshawar. The newly established court will operate until 5.30pm daily.

The evening court would hear urgent matters, including family and rent disputes, women and juvenile cases, narcotics cases, ensuring timely relief and improved case management.

Registrar Peshawar High Court Muhammad Zaib said that evening courts were first launched in Abbottabad, and two second-shift courts have now been made operational in Peshawar.
