ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov is set to undertake his first historic visit to Pakistan, arriving on December 3 for a two-day official trip.

According to diplomatic sources, President Japarov is visiting Pakistan on the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who extended the invitation during the SCO Summit in September 2022.

Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev will accompany the President, along with a high-level delegation that includes senior Kyrgyz ministers.

Diplomatic officials confirmed that an advance Kyrgyz team has already arrived in Pakistan to finalize preparations for the visit. The Kyrgyz delegation is expected to hold key meetings with Pakistan’s political and military leadership.

During the visit, both sides are likely to sign agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs). A joint press conference by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Japarov is also expected.
