Two women died after passenger boats collided near Keamari; all passengers were rescued, while 12 injured people were shifted to a private hospital, police confirm.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Two women lost their lives in a boat collision near Keamari on Sunday.
According to rescue officials, two passenger boats travelling from Manora to Baba Bhit Island collided, resulting in the immediate death of one woman, while another injured girl later succumbed to her wounds.
SSP Keamari Amjad Shaikh said that each of the two boats carried between 20 and 25 passengers at the time of the accident.
He confirmed that all passengers were safely rescued, while 12 injured individuals were shifted to a private hospital for treatment.
