Pakistan demands to hold Israel accountable for violations of international laws

NEW YORK (Dunya News) - Pakistan on Monday called on the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to hold Israel accountable for continued violations of international laws.
Addressing a meeting of the UN Security Council, Pakistan’s permanent representative Asim Iftikhar said called upon the international community to ensure immediate cessation of ceasefire violations by Israeli occupation forces. Asim Iftikhar also demanded immediate withdrawal of Israeli forces.
Asim Iftikhar said that despite the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, violations are continuing. More than 300 Palestinians have been martyred in Israeli attacks after the ceasefire.
Asim Iftikhar said that nearly 70,000 Palestinians have been martyred during the two-year-long war in Gaza. He also demanded that the uninterrupted delivery of humanitarian aid in Gaza must be ensured.
