Rana Sanaullah said that PTI chairman had “never practised democratic politics”, whether in government or opposition as he always avoided dialogue and fueled confrontation.
FAISALABAD (Dunya News) - Advisor to Prime Minister on Political and Public Affairs Senator Rana Sanaullah Khan on Sunday renewed the government’s offer to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for dialogue.
Speaking to the media in Faisalabad after casting his vote, Rana Sanaullah said that the founder of PTI is not doing any kind of politics at the moment and added that dialogue is essential in politics. He said that a person who is in jail and trying to spread anarchy in the country would not be allowed to do so. “I myself spent six and a half months in jail; apart from my family and two lawyers, no one came to see me.
He said that political dialogue, not confrontation, was the essence of democracy. Even Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had extended an unconditional offer to all parties to join the proposed “Charter of Stability”, a framework the government says is aimed at political and economic stability.
Commenting on Imran Khan, he said that PTI chairman had “never practised democratic politics”, whether in government or opposition as he always avoided dialogue and fueled confrontation.
He said that Pakistan needed peace, democratic practice and continuity. Only PML-N had delivered national breakthroughs in the past and now it can lead the country toward sustained stability and development in the future, he added.
