Pakistan's Ishaq Dar met Slovenia's Tanja Fajon at the EU Indo-Pacific Forum in Brussels, signing an MOU for Bilateral Political Consultations and discussing regional cooperation and business ties.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar met with Slovenia’s DMP and Minister of Foreign & European Affairs Tanja Fajon, on sidelines of 4th EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum in Brussels.

The two leaders discussed the full spectrum of bilateral relations and exchanged views on key regional and global developments.

They also signed an MOU establishing the mechanism for Bilateral Political Consultations between Pakistan and Slovenia.

Dar invited Minister Fajon to Islamabad for the inaugural round of consultations and encouraged Slovenia’s participation in Pak-EU Business Forum to be held in April 2026.

Both sides agreed to remain in regular contact, bilaterally and within multilateral frameworks, to further advance cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
