One killed, 12 injured in Khanewal road accident

According to rescue sources, the death toll may rise further as some of the injured were in critical condition
KHANEWAL (Dunya News) – One person was killed and 12 other were wounded when a bus collided with a trailer in Abdul Hakim area near Khanewal in the wee hours of Monday.
According to details, the tragic accident occurred at the Motorway M4 near Abdul Hakim Interchange where a bus hit a trailer from behind after its driver appeared to fall asleep while driving.
The ill-fated bus was on its way to Lahore from Karachi. The bus driver died on the spot while 12 passengers sustained injuries.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot after getting information and shifted the dead and injured to hospital. According to rescue sources, the death toll may rise further as some of the injured were in critical condition.
