Deadline to deposit second installment of Hajj dues expires today

Those who fail to complete the payment by the deadline will have their applications cancelled and their first installment will be refunded directly to their bank accounts.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Ministry of Religious Affairs on Friday announced that all the nominated banks would remain open on Saturday, as the deadline to deposit second installment of Hajj 2026 for the government scheme expires today.
The ministry urged intending pilgrims to receive a computerized receipt after depositing Hajj dues to avoid any inconvenience or potential issues with their application.
Pakistan has a Hajj quota of 179,210 pilgrims. Of this, 129,210 seats have been allocated for the government scheme and the rest for private tour operators,
The intending pilgrims are required to pay Rs 650,000 as the second installment at the designated banks across the country. Those who fail to complete the payment by the deadline will have their applications cancelled and their first installment will be refunded directly to their bank accounts.
