According to sources, the meeting is expected to take place at any time today. It will focus on the country’s overall security situation, with key decisions anticipated in light of recent developments.
Cabinet members have been instructed to remain available and prepared for participation, though they have not yet been formally informed about the meeting’s agenda.
It is worth mentioning that a day earlier, a suicide blast in Islamabad claimed 12 lives and injured 27 others. Pakistan has recently witnessed a surge in terrorist incidents reportedly orchestrated by militant groups based in Afghanistan.
