LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the passing away of Senator Irfan Siddiqui, Dunya News reported on Monday.
Extending her heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the bereaved family, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that Irfan Siddiqui was a torchbearer of unforgettable political traditions.

It is noteworthy that senior PML-N leader Senator Irfan Siddiqui had been suffering from respiratory complications for the past two weeks and was under treatment at a private hospital in Islamabad, but he could not recover. Irfan Siddiqui was the parliamentary leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in the Senate and was among the closest associates of PML-N President Nawaz Sharif.
