Extending her heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the bereaved family, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that Irfan Siddiqui was a torchbearer of unforgettable political traditions.

It is noteworthy that senior PML-N leader Senator Irfan Siddiqui had been suffering from respiratory complications for the past two weeks and was under treatment at a private hospital in Islamabad, but he could not recover. Irfan Siddiqui was the parliamentary leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in the Senate and was among the closest associates of PML-N President Nawaz Sharif.
