Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari reiterated that the PPP was founded for the Kashmir cause and has represented Kashmiris for three generations
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that his party always fought for the Kashmir cause.
Talking to media in Islamabad on Friday, Bilawal said that the PPP’s Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) parliamentary party meeting was held today, reaffirming that his party was laid for the Kashmir cause.
He stated that the PPP has represented the people of Kashmir for three generations, but due to apolitical thinking and conspiracies, a political vacuum has been created in the region.
“The PPP is the only party that can truly represent the people of Kashmir,” he asserted.
Bilawal expressed gratitude to those who have recently joined the PPP and pledged that he would never disappoint the people of Kashmir.
No-confidence motion against AJK PM delayed again
“The PPP is a political and democratic party and will continue to strongly represent the people of Kashmir,” Bilawal added, noting that the party is now in a position to form a government in Azad Kashmir.
PPP AJK Parliamentary Party Meeting Ends Without Consensus
Earlier, PPP AJK parliamentary party meeting concluded without reaching any decision, as internal differences over the nomination of the prime minister persist.
According to party sources, the PPP leadership failed to resolve factional divisions within the AJK parliamentary party. The factions, led by Sardar Yaqoob, Latif Akbar, and Chaudhry Yasin, reportedly refused to withdraw support for their respective candidates.
Sources said the party leadership was unable to convince members to agree on a single name for the prime minister.
