(Dunya News): "Vision Pakistan," a purpose-built institute in the capital city of Islamabad, has won a prestigious international architecture award.

The building was recognised in the 16th award cycle alongside entries from seven countries, including Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Iran, and Palestine.

Designed by DB Studios and architect Saifullah Siddiqui, the structure blends modern design with elements inspired by traditional Pakistani and Arab architecture. The building serves as the headquarters for a charitable organization that provides vocational training to underprivileged youth.

Architect Saifullah Siddiqui described Vision Pakistan as a vocational training institute built to empower children from low-income communities with practical skills. "Every project we construct considers climate change," he noted, highlighting the building’s sustainable approach.

Rashda Tariq Qureshi, the client behind Vision Pakistan, emphasized that the building is more than just visually appealing — it has the power to change lives. "This space transforms every young person who walks in — especially those who've never experienced a structured classroom or envisioned a bright future," she said.

The international recognition not only honors architectural excellence but also acknowledges the project's social impact, offering hope and opportunity through design.
