Anti-Corruption officers described the accused as a “shrewd and cunning” individual
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) has completed its investigation against Sialkot Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue (ADCR) Iqbal Sanghera and produced him before the court, which sent him to jail on a 14-day judicial remand.
According to the ACE report, Iqbal Sanghera was arrested on August 1. He was presented in court three times, and investigators secured a total of 13 days of physical remand during which key recoveries were made.
Officials revealed that a Land Cruiser vehicle (registration number ARE 054) was seized from his possession, along with a Rolex watch allegedly received as a bribe from the complainant.
Investigators also recovered Rs1.47 million in cash, original open files of two 5-marla commercial plots, and another Rs340,000 said to be taken as bribe money.

Anti-Corruption officers described the accused as a “shrewd and cunning” individual who tried every trick in the book to delay proceedings. However, they noted that no further recoveries were expected.
The investigation officer requested the court to send the accused on judicial remand, which the judge approved, ordering Iqbal Sanghera to be shifted to jail for 14 days.
