LAHORE (Dunya News) – Former prime minister Imran Khan has approached the Lahore High Court, seeking an early hearing of his bail petitions in eight cases related to the May 9 events.

The former prime minister filed multiple applications through his lawyer, Barrister Salman Safdar.

In his plea, Imran Khan argued that he was falsely implicated in politically motivated cases. He stated that a two-member bench had scheduled hearings for March 24, but the proceedings could not take place due to the bench’s unavailability, leading to the cancellation of the cause list.

The petition requested the court to schedule an urgent hearing for his bail applications in all eight cases related to May 9.
