Chief Justice Afridi reviewed the ongoing judicial reforms
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chief Justice Yahya Afridi has stated that judicial reforms aim to ensure timely and effective delivery of justice to litigants.
A consultative meeting was held with the heads of various departments, attended by the Registrar of the Supreme Court, the Director General of the Federal Judicial Academy, and the Secretary of the Law and Justice Commission.
According to the official statement, Chief Justice Afridi reviewed the ongoing judicial reforms and emphasised enhancing the digitization of court procedures, accountability, and transparency.
He highlighted that litigants are the key stakeholders in the justice system and that treating them with dignity and respect strengthens public confidence.
The meeting also reviewed the significant milestones achieved so far, including the successful implementation of the e-filing system.
The IT directorate provided a briefing on the progress of integrating digital technologies into the judicial system.
