PEC Sindh reassigned to Punjab as PEC, Balochistan’s EC Afridi as Joint PEC Peshawar
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) made high-level transfers in the organisation, appointing Sharifullah as the Provincial Election Commissioner (PEC) of Punjab.
Previously serving as the PEC Sindh, Sharifullah was posted as Punjab PEC. Meanwhile, Balochistan’s Provincial Election Commissioner, Farid Afridi, was posted as the Joint Provincial Election Commissioner in Peshawar.
In another major reshuffle, Punjab’s Election Commissioner, Ijaz Anwar Chauhan, was transferred to Sindh as its new Provincial Election Commissioner. Additionally, Ali Asghar Sial, the Additional Director General was posted as the Provincial Election Commissioner Balochistan.
Furthermore, Joint Election Commissioner Aleem Shahab was posted as Additional Director General.
