Parliamentary Committee on National Security to meet today

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - An in-camera meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security will be held at the Parliament House in Islamabad today (Tuesday).
Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq has convened the meeting on the advice of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
A comprehensive briefing on the country’s security situation will be presented to the committee members. The military leadership will also brief the committee on the current security situation.
Parliamentary leaders from all political parties represented in Parliament, along with their representatives will attend the meeting.
Furthermore, cabinet members will also participate in the in-camera meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security.
Tight security arrangements have been made at the Parliament House and nearby areas for the in-camera meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security.
Law enforcement agencies have been placed on high alert to ensure foolproof security. Strict measures are in place inside and around the Parliament House.
